This Privacy Policy describes how NoteFlow ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application (the "App") and any related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly to us when using the Services. This includes:

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and password. You may also choose to provide a profile picture.
  • Content You Create: The notes, schedules, habit tracking data, and other content you create, upload, or store using the Services ("User Content"). This includes text, voice recordings, photos, and any other materials you add to your notes or calendar.
  • Contact Information: If you contact us for support or to provide feedback, we may collect your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide.
  • Preferences: Your preferences for using the Services, such as notification settings, language preferences, and display options.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the Services, we may automatically collect certain information about your device and usage of the Services. This includes:

  • Device Information: Information about your mobile device, including the device model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers (such as IDFV), device settings, and mobile network information.
  • Usage Information: Details about how you use the Services, including the features you use, the actions you take, the frequency and duration of your use, the time and date of your visits, and the pages or screens you view.
  • Location Information: NoteFlow does not collect precise location information about you. However, we may infer your approximate location based on your IP address or other available information, such as your device's time zone setting.
  • Log Information: Log files that record interactions with the Services, including access times, pages viewed, IP addresses, and browser types.

1.3 Information Collected from Third Parties

We do not currently collect information about you from third parties. However, if we do so in the future, we will inform you about the information we collect from third parties and how we use that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Services, develop new features, and protect NoteFlow and our users. Specifically, we may use your information to:

  • Provide, personalize, and improve the Services, including by tailoring features and content to your preferences.
  • Store and back up your User Content to ensure you can access it across your devices and recover it if needed.
  • Enable you to share User Content with others, if you choose to use such features.
  • Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages.
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests, and provide customer service and support.
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with the Services.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access to the Services, and other illegal activities, and protect the rights and property of NoteFlow and our users.
  • Debug to identify and fix errors in the Services.
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy. We may share information about you in the following circumstances:

3.1 With Service Providers

We may share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud storage providers, data backup services, email service providers, and customer support providers. We may share aggregated or anonymized information that does not identify you individually with third parties for research, marketing, or other purposes. For example, we might share data about the average number of notes created per user or general trends in habit tracking without disclosing any personal information.

4. Data Retention

We retain information about you for as long as necessary to provide the Services to you and to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. The length of time we retain information depends on the type of information and the purposes for which we collected it.

If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except to the extent we are required to retain such information by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as preventing fraud, enforcing our Terms of Service, or resolving disputes. Please note that some User Content may remain in backup copies for a reasonable period of time after deletion, but will not be accessible to other users or used to provide the Services to you.

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information.

6.1 Account Information and User Content

You can access, review, and update certain information associated with your account by logging into the App and visiting your account settings. You can also delete User Content you have created, such as notes, calendar events, and habit tracking data, by following the instructions within the App.

6.2 Deleting Your Account

You may delete your account at any time by going to the account settings within the App and selecting the option to delete your account. When you delete your account, your personal information and User Content will be permanently deleted, except as described in Section 4 (Data Retention).

6.3 Marketing Communications

We may send you marketing communications about new features, updates, or other information we think you might find interesting. You can opt out of receiving these communications by following the unsubscribe instructions included in the emails or by adjusting your notification settings in the App.

6.4 Push Notifications

We may send you push notifications to keep you informed about your notes, schedules, and habits. You can control push notifications through your device settings or through the notification settings in the App.

6.5 Cookies and Similar Technologies

The App may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Services. Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help us improve the Services and your experience. You can control cookies through your device or browser settings, but please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Services.

7. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible. 8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services that are not owned or controlled by NoteFlow. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such third-party services. 9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We will also notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the Services and, if you have provided us with your email address, by sending you an email notification. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.

Your continued use of the Services after any changes to this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such changes. If you do not agree to the modified Privacy Policy, you should stop using the Services.

NoteFlow may store and process your information in countries other than your own.
